Do I need a paid ChatGPT or Claude plan?
No. In ChatGPT and Claude the agent installs as a Project with custom instructions, which works on every plan, and the Gemini kit uses Gemini’s instructions and skills. Uploading extra skills needs a plan that supports them, but the agent works without them.
What is the catch?
There isn’t one for these agents. Other agents cost 1 download ($1) for a basic agent or 3 downloads for an advanced one with a full set of skills, and the free download you get when you sign up covers your first basic one.
