🏪 Small Business Starter Pack
The twelve prompts that save the most time in a typical small business week.
For: Any small business owner who wants their evenings back. Fill in anything in [square brackets].
1. Morning briefing
Read my inbox and today's calendar. Give me a briefing in five bullets: what's urgent, who's waiting on me, and anything I promised to do.
💡 Schedule it for 7:30 every weekday if your platform allows.
2. Inbox sort
Sort my unread emails into urgent, to reply, waiting and done. Draft replies to anything simple and show them to me before sending.
3. Write it in my voice
Here are three emails I've written [paste]. Describe my writing style in five bullet points, then use that style for every draft from now on.
💡 Do this first: every other prompt gets better.
4. Follow-up finder
Look at my sent emails from the last 14 days and list anyone who hasn't replied to something that needed an answer. Draft a short nudge for each.
5. FAQ from real questions
Read these customer emails [paste or connect]. Find the 10 most common questions and write short, clear answers for our website.
6. Social week
Plan this week's social posts for [platforms]: three posts, each with a caption, a photo idea and a call to action. Our business: [describe].
7. Review replies
Draft personal replies to these reviews [paste]. Thank happy customers by name; handle any complaint calmly and take it offline.
8. Price increase letter
We're raising prices by [percent] from [date]. Draft a short, honest message to customers explaining why, what stays the same and thanking them.
9. Meeting to actions
Here are my notes from today's meeting [paste]. List decisions, actions with owners and dates, and draft the follow-up email.
10. Supplier comparison
Compare these three supplier quotes [attach] in a table: price, what's included, delivery time and terms. Recommend one and say why.
11. Month in numbers
From this month's sales and costs [attach], give me a one-page summary: income, costs, profit, biggest changes from last month, and one thing to look into.
12. Friday wrap-up
Summarise my week: what got done, what slipped, and the top three things for next week.
💡 A great habit for a Friday afternoon.
